The Brown Butti Rug is a handwoven pitloom rug with a repeating butti (small motif) pattern in warm mustard gold, set against a deep black border with a soft fringe finish. Pitloom weaving, where the loom is set into the ground, is a traditional Indian craft that produces tightly woven, durable rugs. At 3 x 5 feet, it suits entryways, bedside corners, reading nooks or as a layered accent under a chair. Each piece is made by skilled artisans, so small variations in the weave are part of its character.
