Pitloom

Discover traditional Pitloom rugs from Peaches, handwoven using time-honored Indian techniques. The loom is set into the ground, letting weavers use their full body weight for finer tension and tightly woven, intricate designs, a method that predates industrial weaving and survives because it produces what machines cannot. Inspired by architecture, culture and the stories of place, each rug is handwoven by a family-run artisan unit in India, and carries the marks of the person who made it. Every Peaches rug comes from a loom, not a machine, woven by skilled artisans in India.
